Pax & Parker
January 13, 2016
Pax & Parker was just, well, cool. Very modern, very fashionable, very classy…yet low-key at the same time? It sounds contradicting, but that was the vibe we sensed during our visit, and that seems to be the direction in which Winston Parker Ley and Alari Ann Paxson are pushing. The fashion-saavy owners and buyers for Pax & Parker, both TCU graduates (Go Frogs!), made us feel very welcomed while we browsed through the boutique and apparel collections. Carrying both a men’s and women’s line proved to be an appealing feature, but what their real focus seemed to be on was the quality of the clothing. Items by well-known designers such as Rachel Zoe and Nicole Miller could be found on the racks, and the selective choices gives the feeling that you’re purchasing a rarity. Overall we were impressed by the selection, the interior of the business (their intuitive sense of style obviously expands outside of clothes), and the humility of these chic entrepreneurs. Check them out in the new fast expanding WestBend District!
